WIN Chautauqua, a dynamic women’s networking group, sought to revitalize their brand and online presence. The project included creating a distinctive logo and a cohesive web design that would represent the diverse businesses within the group.
Logo Design
I presented the group with five logo options, each carefully crafted to reflect the spirit of collaboration and growth. The final logo was a fusion of various elements from the initial sketches, resulting in a design that truly resonated with the members.
- Design Concept: The group was particularly drawn to the rounded, seal-like shape of the logo. The central image, resembling a cog, symbolizes the interconnectedness of businesses working together.
- Color Scheme: I used a gradient of teal shades, from lighter to darker, to represent the different stages of business each member embodies—from startups to established enterprises.
- Symbolism: The small white dotted line around each section represents the pathways to success, emphasizing the group’s commitment to supporting each other’s growth.
Web Design
Building on the branding, the website design aimed to be both welcoming and professional, reflecting the ethos of WIN Chautauqua. The site was designed to be user-friendly, with easy navigation and a visually appealing layout that highlights the group’s mission and events.
